Extended Support Hours for Start of Spring 2026

Del Mar College IT would like to inform you that hours of operation for the Viking Help Desk have been updated to offer additional support hours for the upcoming Spring semester. Beginning 1/5/26, our updated hours of operation for normal and peak periods are listed below.

Please be advised that peak period hours of operation are subject to change. Should you need assistance outside these hours of operation, please submit a request to vikinghelpdesk@delmar.edu, and a support agent will contact you.

Extended Spring Semester Support: 1/5/26 - 1/18/26

What does this mean for me?

Extended technical support will be available for faculty, staff, and students during the peak period listed above. Self-service options are also available for common requests, such as accessing or unlocking your account. These options can be accessed via the Viking Toolbox on the Del Mar College home page. The only requirement to use the self-service password reset or the unlock account feature is to first register a contact method.

When will the changes go into effect?

Extended support hours will begin on 1/5/26 at 7:30 am and will end on 1/18/26 at 3:00 pm.

What if I have questions?

For questions concerning this process, email the Viking Help Desk at vikinghelpdesk@delmar.edu, and your question will be directed to the appropriate IT staff.
